Gratitude is a way of life that expands all horizons and offers the gift of pure joy.

By having an attitude of gratitude.

Today I will remain aware of all that I have to be thankful for. I will consciously be grateful for everyday things like electricity and all the people it takes to make it work for me. I will take nothing for granted. When I am conscientious of this the Universe becomes clear of the types of experiences and things I choose for myself. In gratitude one cannot experience anything other than joy and peace, as one cannot be grateful and fearful at the same time. This is a gift that I give myself that I know will truly leave me feeling abundant of all that is good.

By thinking positive thoughts.

Today I will only allow thoughts that bring me inner peace and joy. These thoughts are spirit speaking to me. I know that any thought that does not produce a good feeling is merely my ego feeding on fear. My thoughts are easily turned around when I realize that I am in control and have a choice. All I need do is choose a new happy thought or a beautiful memory and I will return to my true nature of happiness.

When I accept that I am enough.

I am a limitless part of God. There is nothing I need do, say or be in order to be a blessing in this world. My very being is a unique expression of the Divine. I am God’s gift to God. To be anything other than what I am would be to be less than and it’s impossible to be anything but myself!

This is all the proof I need to realize that I am enough.

With positive meaning in my life.

I am the only one who can give meaning to all that happens in my life and I choose to give everything a positive meaning. I never allow other people’s ideas to influence the meanings I choose. How someone else sees my experiences has absolutely nothing to do with me and everything to do with themselves. Therefore I choose to see all situations in my life as either successes or new learning, this creates an empowered life.

By speaking my truth.

Today I will courageously speak from my heart. I will say no when I mean no. I will say yes when I am delighted to do so, therefore never resenting my choice. I will express my opinions choosing my words wisely, yet holding back nothing. I am responsible for how I say things and not how others receive what I say, as at times it is human nature to read into what is being said rather than listening and taking what is said at face value and I have no control over another’s interpretations. By speaking honestly  I will be true to myself, which is being true to all others as we are all One.
